Maddie Gioia and Tom Tierney are a music duo based in Brooklyn, New York.
Maddie and Tom have played in countless bands of a variety of genres, for crowds around NYC, the US, and overseas.
Maddie Gioia is a singer and plays saxophone, and Tom Tierney is a singer and plays guitar and keys. They have played together for years, having met rehearsing for a show with NYC cover band Lanier. They further strengthened their musical bond through playing often with That Feeling When, a NYC Yacht Rock cover band. Their individual resumes include original bands such as Madjoy, Amy Irving, Julie Christmas, The Harmonica Lewinskies, Suncruiser, All Time Darling, and many more.
When they play as a duo, Maddie and Tom pick songs that come from their hearts that they know will connect with the audience. Their songbook sets often include classic hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, with a mix of contemporary pop and rock songs.
They have so much fun playing as a duo, but also love to hire musicians to fill out a full live band for the right event or show. They have their own PA and can provide sound amplification for any event for which they are hired.
